is a Colorado Native and proud of it. Raised on the Western Slope in the small farm town of Loma, CO., just west of Grand Junction. Growing up on five acres, Allen had the experience of raising a variety of farm animals. His rural upbringing taught him the value of hard work and honesty and inspired him towards entrepreneurship.
Honesty and transparency were drilled into Allen’s head from a young age. “You either do something or you don’t,” were the words used by Allen’s father when he taught Allen that life is really no more complicated than this. “We have a choice in everything we do,” is the quote Allen has taken to heart throughout his adult life. It has allowed him to accomplish his goals of having a loving family, a college degree, and working for himself.
was born in rural, residential central Florida. She grew up with a strong appreciation for food and family – spending time at Farmer’s Markets, baking with Grandma, and attending church. Her love of food continued into adulthood where she apprenticed as a chef and soon became a professional cook herself, in Denver.
Ashlee worked at many country clubs and golf courses until she set her sights on and in luxury hotel kitchens. Once there, she began baking for celebrities and some of the finest athletes in professional sports. Ashlee’s attention to detail and passion for serving clients’ needs led her to joining her husband, Allen, in his real estate business.
Wanting to work for himself, led Allen into Real Estate. After graduating from Regis University, Allen pursued a career in real estate. He wanted to be able to help people’s dreams come true of owning that perfect house. By making his clients priorities his own priorities, it has allowed each and every one of his clients to enjoy buying and selling real estate.
Allen wanted to learn the business quickly, so he could create a great client experience. This led him to joining a team with the Luxury Division at the Keller Williams DTC office. Allen was hired on as a buyer’s agent and learned the business of Real Estate by doing everything that was asked of him. Soon after being hired he was handling all buyers transactions and making clients happy.
“The most important thing in Real Estate is to be transparent and be yourself. Clients respect this and they want to know that they can trust the agent that they are working with.” Allen went out on his own and joined Colorado Home Realty. Since then, he has built a referral based business because his clients trust and enjoy working with him.
Ashlee joined Allen at CHR in the fall of 2014. She and her Allen are working together to ensure the best possible client experience when it comes to buying or selling a home. Everyone’s situation is unique and the Walsh’s treat it as such, making sure their priorities are aligned with their client’s. They strive for continuous professional and personal development to promote a business of clear communication and honesty.
The Walsh Duo and their son Zuriah, their daughter Mackenzie, and Baby Henry enjoy many of the things that living in Colorado offers. Allen and Ashlee love taking in Bronco games. The whole family, besides Baby Henry, enjoys skiing and has season passes to Keystone and A-Basin. Everyone in the family is learning to golf. Every year the Walsh’s plan a big camp trip at Chatfield reservoir and have a Cornhole and Bucketball tournament. The Walsh’s love a little friendly competition!
Living in Roxborough, the Walsh family enjoys hiking Waterton Canyon and Roxborough State Park. Allen enjoys taking his Chocolate Labrador, Bronco, hunting.
Allen taught country-dance lessons in college. Yee Haw!!
Ashlee’s life motto: “If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough!” That, and “Everybody Wang Chung tonight!”
Allen worked in a gold mine on the border of Death Valley in Beatty, Nevada as a summertime college job.
As a child, Ashlee was a competitive and performance clogger (a type of tap dancing), both on a team and solo.
Allen raised every type of farm animal imaginable growing up. Some of these animals included horses, cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, turkeys, pigeons, and peacocks.
Ashlee will gladly accept any challenge to a dance-off.
In college, one of Allen’s favorite vacation destinations was Moab, Utah where he would go off-roading. He almost flipped his truck going down Hells Revenge.
Great! Allen and Ashlee are ready to get to work for you.
